As an Intern you will gain valuable hands-on experience working in our Richmond office. You will rotate through various departments and will gain exposure in all Horse & Farm product lines and processes. You will apply your educational insights and learning in a real-world business setting. You will complete various projects and administrative tasks to support the Markel Specialty, Personal Lines, Agriculture and Equine Division of our Fortune 500 international organization.

Job requirements:

  • Current college student (rising juniors, or seniors) with a major in business, risk management & insurance, finance, agriculture or related field.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the equine and/or farming industry preferred.
  • Strong academic performance (3.0 GPA minimum).
