About the Role
If you enjoy building relationships and possess an analytical mindset, Zurich’s Underwriting Training Program offers the opportunity to leverage both skill sets in one of the most critical roles in insurance. This training program provides the tools and instruction to help you evaluate risks for large and multinational companies. You’ll learn to negotiate and determine the prices and terms to cover a variety of risks while building your value.
Basic Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree and on track to graduate by Spring/Summer 2024
- Strong analytical and intercommunication skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities often under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous corporate internship experience, underwriting experience is a plus!
- Aptitude for automation and process improvement
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience
Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Compensation may exceed the salary listed based on the evaluation of skillset and experience. For additional information about our Total Rewards, click here. Other rewards may include short term incentive bonuses and merit increases. The starting hourly range for the position is: $26.88 - $ 46.20. An employee in this role working full-time (40 hours per week) can expect an annualized range of $55,910.40 - $96,096.00.
